Firstly, should point out that this night is on the first and third Tuesday of each month and not monday as listed.
Secondly, this is the best open mike I have ever been to...Seriously...And I have lived in both NY and LA. While, there is an admission fee of 5 bucks, you are performing at a real venue and many of the comediens bring their friends, so it feels like a real audience. (Not just a bunch of bored comediens checking their iphones)
All in all, is a warm and supportive atmosphere. Plus the best act of the night gets a prize. Highly recommended.
